 1. Overview of this Critical Patch Release
 =======================================================================
    This critical patch resolves the following issue:

    Issue:    Smart Protection Server 3.0 uses bash 3.2-21.el5, which is
              affected by the below vulnerabilities.

              - CVE-2014-6271
              - CVE-2014-7169
	      - CVE-2014-7186
	      - CVE-2014-7187
	      - CVE-2014-6277
	      - CVE-2014-6278

             ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
   Solution: This critical patch upgrades the bash to 3.2-33.el5_10.4 to 
             resolve this issue.

 =======================================================================
    You must install Smart Protection Server 3.0 before installing this 
    critical patch.


 4. Installation/Uninstallation
 =======================================================================

    4.1 Installation
    ====================================================================
    To install this critical patch:

    1. Extract the critical patch package to a temporary folder. 

    2. Log on to the Smart Protection Server web console using an account 
       with administrator privileges.

    3. Click "Updates > Program" on the main menu.

    4. In the "Upload Component" section, browse to the correct folder, 
       select the "tmsss-os-patch-3.0-1001.x86_64.tgz" critical patch 
       file, and click "Upload".

       After the server loads the package, information on the
       available program files appear. This is needed to reboot the server. 
 
    5. Click the "Update Now" button if you have no concerns. A popup
       window will remind that the server will reboot.
      
       After the update process is completed, the current version of
       Operating System becomes 1001.

    4.2 Uninstallation
    ====================================================================
    No uninstallation steps are provided.
