1. Overview of this Critical Patch Release
========================================================================
   This critical patch adds the following enhancements:
    
   Enhancement 1: This critical patch enables users to install the 
                  Worry-Free Business Security 8.0 Service Pack 1 
                  Security Agent on computers running on the 
                  Microsoft(TM) Windows(TM) 8.1 and Windows 2012 R2 
                  platforms.

   Enhancement 2: This critical patch enables Worry-Free Business 
                  Security 8.0 Service Pack 1 to correctly recognize 
                  the Windows 8.1 and Windows 2012 R2 platforms

   Note: Refer to Section 6 "Known Issues" for information on certain
         limitations of this critical patch release.

3. System Requirements
========================================================================
    Trend Micro recommends installing Worry-Free Business Security 8.0 
    Service Pack 1 or later patches before installing this critical 
    patch. 


4. Installation/Uninstallation
========================================================================
   4.1 Installation
   ====================================================================
   To install this critical patch:
  
   1. Copy the critical patch executable file to a temporary folder on 
      the Worry-Free Business Security Server, for example, "C:\temp".

   2. Double-click the file. All critical patch modules are 
      automatically copied to the correct destination.

   3. Restart the computer.
   
   4.2 Uninstallation
   ====================================================================
   To roll back to the previous build:
   
   1. Locate the backup folder that the critical patch package created
      in the "\PCCSRV\Backup\CriticalPatch_B2042" directory.  

   2. Copy any file that you want to roll back to the correct folder.

    
5. Post-installation Configuration
========================================================================
   No post-installation steps are required.

   Note: Trend Micro recommends that you update your scan engine and  
         virus pattern files immediately after installing the product.


6. Known Issues
========================================================================
   This critical patch release has the following known limitations:

   6.1 You can only do a fresh install of the Security Agent on 
       certain Windows platforms.
   =====================================================================
       You can only perform a fresh installation of the Security Agent
       on the Windows 8.1 and Windows 2012 R2 platforms.

   6.2 You cannot install the Security Server on certain Windows 
       Platforms.
   =====================================================================
       The Security Server cannot be installed on Windows 8.1 and
       Windows Server 2012 R2 platforms.

    6.3 The Trend Micro Security (for Mac(TM)) Server does not work on
        certain Windows platforms.
    ====================================================================
        The Trend Micro Security (for Mac) Server does not work in the
        Windows 8.1 and Windows 2012 R2 platforms.

    6.4 The Windows 8.1 logo does not appear.
    ====================================================================
        There is no Windows 8.1 logo.

    6.5 Users Cannot Browse the Security Server Console in Windows 8.1
        Metro user interface.
    ====================================================================
        This occurs because the Microsoft Internet Explorer(TM) 11 Metro 
        mode does not support Active X add-ons.
