System Requirements ====================================================================== Install IMSS for Windows NT 7.1 Patch 3 before applying this critical patch. 4. Installation/Uninstallation ====================================================================== Note: Install this critical patch only on computers where IMSS Central Controller is installed if you are using distributed deployment mode. 4.1 Installation =================================================================== To install this critical patch: 1. Copy the "imss_71_win32_en_criticalpatch1546.0.exe" file to a local folder. 2. Run the "imss_71_win32_en_criticalpatch1546.0.exe" file. 3. In the "Setup" screen, click "Install" and follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation. The "Installation successful!" message appears after the system completes the installation. Note: For rollback purposes, the installation program moves the original IMSS files to the following location: IMSS71_INSTALL_DIRECTORY\temp\CriticalPatch15460\backup 4.2 Uninstallation =================================================================== To roll back to the previous build: 1. Open the "IMSS71_INSTALL_DIRECTORY\temp\CriticalPatch15460\backup" folder. 2. Run "uninstall.bat" and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the rollback process. The "Remove installation successful!" message appears after the system completes the rollback process. 5. Post-installation Configuration ====================================================================== No post-installation steps are required. Note: Trend Micro recommends that you update your scan engine and virus pattern files immediately after installing this critical patch. 6.
