Installation ======================================================================== Refer to the Installation Guide for complete instructions. 5. Post-Installation Configuration ======================================================================== Refer to the Administrator's Guide for recommendations. 6. Known Issues ======================================================================== Here are the known issues in this release: 6.1 $RemovableDrives path ========================= If you specify a drive letter When using the $RemovableDrives path expression variable to specify a rule on the server, the policy will not block executables in that path until it has been applied to a local agent. In addition, the "Test Path" function may not work unless you specify D or E as the drive letter. 6.2 Closing browser tab does not log off session ================================================ After logging into the server using a web browser, closing that browser tab does not log you out of the web console automatically, so anyone opening the web browser again later could still access the web console. You must click "Log off" in the top right corner of the web console to end the session. 6.3 IPv6 environments ===================== If you want to use the software in an IPv6 environment, then you must provide the correct IPv6 address information for the backend service while installing the software on the server. 6.4 Using tooltips with Internet Explorer 10 ============================================ If you have installed version 10 of Microsoft Internet Explorer on the server, then you must add "about:blank" to the list of trusted pages before the server console tooltips will work. 6.5 Remove Beta before installation =================================== If you already installed the Beta release (build 1153), uninstall the agent and server software before using the official release. 6.6 Performance issues with insufficient memory resources ========================================================= A performance issue may occur when Endpoint Application Control Server is installed on a server machine with only 1 GB memory. After the installation, Endpoint Application Control web console Logon page opens but backend and UI may not sync due to insufficient memory resources. Therefore, the Logon page appearance may differ from expected. 6.7 Blank page with Single Sign-on and Same-Origin Policy ========================================================= TMCM implemented Endpoint Application Control Single Sign-on by redirect mechanism. If the browser has Cross-Origin access, authenticated cookies disappear. Due to Same-Origin Policy, when a user tries to access TMCM using an endpoint which is not part of the domain, and uses Single Sign-on to connect to the Endpoint Application Control web server, this may result in a blank page appearing. 7.
