Known issues in this release:
Indicators of Compromise
- The Display Name of registered Endpoint Sensor server(s) cannot contain single quotation marks (') or double quotation marks ("); otherwise, the "Pending Endpoints" page of the Assess Impact result of Indicators of Compromise cannot display the pending hosts information.
Virtual Analyzer Objects
- The "At Risk Endpoints" column on the Virtual Analyzer Objects page always shows "Not yet assessed" for analyzed safe results.
- After assessing the impact on a file content object in the "Virtual Analyzer Objects" page, it will only show information for a single file for each endpoint even when there are multiple files within an endpoint.
- Exceptions of Virtual Analyzer Objects with double-byte character set (DBCS) are converted into garbage characters when exported into CSV files.
Both Indicators of Compromise and Virtual Analyzer Objects
- Control Manager does not execute impact assessment through the "Virtual Analyzer Objects" page or "Indicators of Compromise" page when any one of the registered Endpoint Sensor server encounters errors, for example, during network disconnection or when the ES service stops unexpectedly.
Both Endpoint Sensor Investigation widget and Intelligent Monitoring Summary by Host widget
- When users select an offline server after selecting an online server from the "Investigation Results", endpoints belonging to the online sever appear under the offline server.
- Control Manager cannot recognize newly-added Endpoint Sensors through Server Visibility when performing tasks in the Endpoint Sensor Investigation and Intelligent Monitoring Summary by Host widgets until Control Manager refreshes the widgets or the entire page.
The "Root Cause Chain" page of the Endpoint Sensor Investigation widget, Virtual Analyzer Objects, or Indicators of Compromise
- DBCS in the object list of Root Cause Chain are converted into garbage characters when exported into CSV files.
General
- The icons on the "Endpoint Sensor Investigation", "Intelligent Monitoring Summary by Host", "Root Cause Chain", and "Endpoint Sensor Policy" pages appear as deformed rectangles or garbled text in Internet Explorer 9 when Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration is enabled.
- If the authentication between Trend Micro Endpoint Sensor and Control Manager is expired, users need to refresh the browser to reauthenticate.
