    The following enhancements are included in this Critical Patch: 

    
    Enhancement 1:  This Critical Patch updates the related modules in 
                    ServerProtect to protect against the Cross-Site  
                    Scripting Vulnerability (ZDI-CAN-21425)
                    (CVSS 3.0, Score 7.8).

3. System Requirements

    1. Trend Micro ServerProtect for Microsoft Windows/Novell NetWare 
	   5.8 Patch 5 Build 1567 - English - Windows - x32-x64
    2. Running the Normal Server requires Microsoft Windows Server 2008
       R2 (or later).
 

4. Installation 
========================================================================
This section explains key steps for installing the Critical Patch.

    4.1. Installing 
    ====================================================================
    
    To install:
	
    1. Close the Management Console.
	
    2. Run "spnt_580_win_en_criticalpatch_ZDI_CAN_21425.exe" to copy the
       Critical Patch files to the correct destination. The License
       Agreement appears.
	   
    3. Read the License Agreement and click "OK" if you agree with
       the license conditions to finish the installation.
	   
       NOTE: 
       Setup will not continue if you do not agree to the license 
	   conditions.
    
    4. Open the Management Console and click "Deploy Now" in the 
       "Update" panel to deploy "Virus Scan Engine" manually.
	   
	NOTE: 
	This Critical Patch updates the scan engine only and is not 
	cumulative. Installation of this Critical Patch does not change
	the product version.
       
    
    4.2. Uninstalling 
    ====================================================================    
    
    To roll back to the previous build:

    1. Open the Management Console and click "Rollback" in the 
       "Rollback" panel to roll-back the "Virus Scan Engine" update.

    2. On the Information Server, open the Information Server's home
       directory and rename the backup files in the ".\SpntShare" folder 
       and use them to replace the current files. The names of the 
       backup files have ".bak" in the extension.
     

5. Post-installation Configuration 
========================================================================
    
    No post-installation steps are required.
    
    NOTE: Trend Micro recommends that you update your scan engine and 
    virus pattern files immediately after installing the product.

    There are no known issues for this Critical Patch release.
