Installation ======================================================================== This section explains key steps for installing the Hotfix. 4.1 Installing ==================================================================== To install: (1) Copy the Hotfix file to a local folder on the computer where you have installed Trend Micro Safe Lock Intelligent Manager. (2) Run the Hotfix file. (3) In the setup screen, click "Install" and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation. The "Installation successful" message appears after the system completes the installation. 4.2 Uninstalling ==================================================================== No uninstallation steps required. 5. Post-installation Configuration ======================================================================== - Please remember to clear the browser cache before you open the web console when you install this hotfix to an environment where a previous build was installed. - The older record of Safe Lock will be updated to date until the agent send the latest status to the Safe Lock Intelligent Manager. 6. Prior hotfixes were tested at the time of their release. [Hotfix 2010] Enhancement 1: This Hotfix provides the server IP of Safe Lock Intelligent Manager for the Syslog Forwarding Event. [Hotfix 2009] Issue 1: Intelligent Manager may not recognize new agent patches because of certificate issue. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Solution 1: This Hotfix updates sign checking to be compatible with new agent patches. [Hotfix 2006] Issue 1: Agent event logs cannot be exported successfully when filtered by group name. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Solution 1: This Hotfix updates the database search function to resolve this issue. Issue 2: Sometimes, users cannot log in to the web console in Microsoft(TM) Internet Explorer(TM). ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Solution 2: This Hotfix removes old cookies from the login page to ensure that users can log in to the web console successfully in Internet Explorer. Enhancement 1: This Hotfix adds the following three remote commands on the web console: * Change password * Delete approved items * Sync license with Intelligent Manager Enhancement 2: This Hotfix applies a security enhancement on the web console. Enhancement 3: This Hotfix enables syslog to display the year in timestamps. Enhancement 4: This Hotfix adds a "Start now" option for remote enabling of maintenance mode on agents. 8.
