Error: Activation failed (No Agent/Appliance)

This error message indicates that the agent software has not been installed on the computer that you would like to protect.

To install agent software:

For Deep Security as a Service—review Use deployment scripts to add and protect computers and Install the agent on Amazon EC2 and Workspaces.

For Deep Security from AWS Marketplace—review the section Deploy Deep Security agents to your AWS instances in Getting started with Deep Security AMI from AWS Marketplace.
