1. Overview of this Critical Patch Release
   ========================================================================
   This critical patch resolves the following issues:

   Issue 1: Sometimes, Trend Micro Control Manager(TM) cannot deploy
                engine files to two or more Normal Servers simultaneously.
                ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
   Solution 1:  This critical patch ensures that Normal Servers can
                successfully receive engine file deployment commands
                from Control Manager.
   Issue 2:     Control Manager shows the wrong operating system name for
                Information Servers and Normal Servers that are deployed
                on the Microsoft(TM) Windows(TM) Server 2012 platform.
                ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
   Solution 2: This critical patch enables Control Manager to show the
                correct operating system name for each Information Server
                and Normal Server.

   Issue 3: Outbreak Prevention Services cannot be deployed from
                Control Manager to Normal Servers that have been deployed
                on the Windows Server 2008 or Windows Server 2012
                platform.
                ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
   Solution 3:  This critical patch ensures that Outbreak Prevention
                Services can be successfully deployed from Control Manager
                to Normal Servers that have been deployed on the Windows
                Server 2008 or Windows Server 2012 platform.
   Notice: Outbreak Prevention Services rely on Windows Firewall
           with Advanced Security on Windows Server 2008 and
           Windows Server 2012. Please make sure the Windows Firewall
           with Advanced Security has been enabled before you deploy
           Outbreak Prevention Services to Normal Servers that are
           deployed on the Windows Server 2008 or Windows
           Server 2012 platform from Control Manager.
4. Installation/Uninstallation
========================================================================
   4.1 Installation
   =====================================================================
   To install this critical patch:
   1. Extract the contents of the "spnt_58_win_en_cp1340.exe" critical
      patch file to a temporary folder on the Information Server.
   2. If needed, define the target server:
      a. Open the "hotfix.ini" file in the "filegroup1" folder using a
         text editor.
      b. In the "Common" section of "hotfix.ini", locate the
         "Server=Server_Name" string.
      c. Replace "Server_Name" with the target server name(s),
         separating multiple server names with a comma.
      Note: If "Server_Name" is left blank, the critical patch deploys
            to all Normal Servers managed by the Information Server.
      d. Save any changes and close the "hotfix.ini" file.
   3. Run "TmPatch.exe" to copy the critical patch files to the correct
      destination. The License Agreement appears.
   4. Read the License Agreement and click "OK" if you agree with the
      license conditions to finish the installation.
      Note: The setup will not continue if you do not agree to the setup
            license conditions.
   4.2 Uninstallation
   =====================================================================
   To roll back to the previous build:
   1. Run the following shell commands to stop all ServerProtect
      services:
      net stop spntsvc
      net stop earthagent
      net stop "TrendMicro Infrastructure"
   2. Rename the backup files in the ServerProtect home directory
      and use them to replace the current files. The names of the
      backup files have "bak" in the extension.
   3. Run the following commands to start the ServerProtect services:
      net start spntsvc
      net start earthagent
      net start "TrendMicro Infrastructure"
      Note: The "TrendMicro Infrastructure" refers to the CMAgent
            Service. You only need to issue the 'net end/start
            "TrendMicro Infrastructure"' commands if this service is
            installed.
